Ryan Blimkie

Ryan graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics. As part of his University internship, he coached Strength and Conditioning at the University of Ottawa for Gee-Gee’s teams in various sports; There he used his athletic experience from junior hockey, strongman, and powerlifting to improve athletic performance in the athletes. He has several years of experience in a physical therapy rehabilitation setting performing full-body physical assessment and treatments for musculoskeletal conditions and disorders. He also has several years of experience working with post-concussion rehabilitation with MVA's and Veterans. Additionally, he has received several Geriatric training certificates, including a certification in MoCA testing for cognitive impairments. In his spare time Ryan enjoys cycling, reading, and strength training. Ryan is passionate about exercise and believes movement is medicine.
