Lynn Morrone R KIN
Lynn obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia in 2002. Lynn began her Kinesiology career in Sackville, Nova Scotia where she gained experience in work and motor vehicle accident, sport injuries and rehabilitation. Following a move to Ottawa Ontario, practice continued in the private sector in areas of athletic training and conditioning, corporate fitness, health and wellness consulting, personal training, physical conditioning, work hardening, office ergonomics, exercise prescription, orthotic construction and functional capacity evaluations. She continued her learning and education in a hospital setting at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital for the next 16 years to present. Lynn became a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario in 2016.
She has extensive post graduate training and clinical experience all areas of hospital medicine and rehabilitation care. Post operative orthopaedics, cerebrovascular accident, geriatric and ambulatory care, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, co-morbid conditions, kineso taping, back education, diabetic teaching, stroke care and management, health and safety awareness, infection control, palliative care services and obtained Gla:d certification in June 2019. She has a strong commitment to continuous lifelong learning. She has a blended family of 4 children and a puppy and enjoys an active lifestyle of running, skiing, soccer and swimming.
